This is not supposed to be happening. I am usually on top of things, and there is no dirty connotation here. How did I fall behind in my Representations readings? Actually, how did I not even start at all?
1. Thursday afternoon. Head home after Representations. Spend evening backing up computer.
2. Friday. Spent entire day in school, got home 11ish.
3. Saturday. Mope around. Read stuff, but not for Representations. Mass. Supper till 3am.
4. Sunday. Wake up past noon. Read more stuff and watch even more TV. Eat so much for dinner, it's no wonder I'm sick starting Monday.
5. Monday night. Came home after CG and Slept Early.
6. Tueday. Spent afternoon online dropping acid bombs. Evening. Feeling weak but went out for restaurant review.
7. Wednesday. Wrote restaurant review, and went to watch a movie. Lecture at night. Came home and wrote article for CAW.
8. Thursday is THE day. Representations class. And guess what? I'm not there.
This is all my fault lah.

My prayer life has been neglected of late. I admitted to a friend that I just haven't made the time to communicate with God, and that sometimes I just don't feel as if He's there. Maybe that accounts for the way I've been dealing with things. It's as if I've never known Him or His teachings.
So on the bus home tonight, I am listening to the radio and begging God to re-enter my life and to give me some peace of mind. Suddenly an old song comes on. A song from the old times. And all those thoughts that have been invading my head just melt away, and I feel that I am receiving His mercy, and His gentle urging for me to be merciful in kind.
This is a rare moment for me, when I actually allow God's strength to triumph over my weakness. For now, I feel so blessed.

My friend, a wise woman once said: There are some people out there who look ugly no matter what they wear. The (ironically) more forgiving and less bigoted version of the painful truth is: There are some people out there who irritate me no matter what they do.
My list of Top Pet Peeves in the past week:
1. Irresponsible people who don't have a clue about what they're doing and don't look where they're going.
2. Rude people with no work ethics.
3. Dead birds.
4. Mood swingy people who are impossible to talk to.
5. Whiny people who need me to validate their sad lives. Read: Sod off.
6. People who act cute.
7. People who try to be witty by playing with words but end up spewing malapropisms.
Not cool.
8. People who complain but don't do anything to help their situations.
9. Lifts that stop on every floor, especially lifts that stop on the 2nd floor cos the people there are so lazy they'd rather wait for the lift to stop on every floor before reaching theirs than take the stairs.
10. '...'
11. The fat lizard in my room with the ultra-loud mating call. I HATE LIZARDS! Stay away from my room, from my kitchen table, from my mug and especially from my hamster cage!
