If there's something I've learnt lately, it's that Catholics should never go to war with each other to pre-empt any possible accusation of hypocrisy. There seems to be this pressing expectation that because we're Catholics, we're supposed to pure in thought, word and deed. Bitching strictly not allowed.

AS BLOODY IF.

Those people who go around expecting Catholics to be the very models of virtue should honestly go stuff themselves, and I know of at least one of them living under the same roof as me who should. Quit acting scandalized when someone has done you wrong, JUST LET IT SLIDE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. People make mistakes, and if you know that she's going through a hard time then cut her some slack; stop demanding my sympathy and loyalty especially if you're gonna bitch non-stop for days on end about some stupid little incident with no sign in sight of possibly ever letting this grudge go AND THEN saying 'oh no, I wouldn't tell her to her face because she's going through such a hard time. Of course I care about her feelings'.

So the person is not a perfect Catholic. I'm not either, and obviously it runs in the fucking family. Just come off it already and shut up.
