I have lost a ring that someone gave me last Christmas. Naturally I appreciate its value now that it's gone. I guess it's funny how we attach ourselves to the smallest things even though we really shouldn't. Material things aren't very important, but I suppose they remind us of their givers. Like someone once said, there are some things that aren't necessarily perfectly constructed, but somehow they become so indispensible. Just because.
Do we become careless with these things because we fail to understand the intention of the giver? If we knew that all the presents we've ever received were given out of friendship and love and generosity... would we still put them away in little corners and then throw them away during a cleaning fit 3 years later? Oh I am ungrateful.

Do you think you said 'I love you' enough to your father/mother? It's funny, I tell them everyday but they don't believe me.
If you had the talent or the opportunity you would: live somewhere else in the world. Just for kicks. I mean, I'd rather be in Spain picking oranges.. or in London looking at all the things I've read about in books... than use the chance to go study abroad.. I really would..
The emotion you tend to hide the most: I don't hide my emotions. Tell me if you disagree.
A dream you have had more than once: I'm always running.
Your best birthday: The year 2000. Great food, great company, and cake in my face.
A sickness or disease you fear: ALL of them.
Your greatest fear about marriage: That we fall out of love.
Three things you would never do: Dye my hair, eat food off a hawker centre table and put up with what I perceive as injustice and oppression.
