You are Harley Barbie! You don't asocciate with "sophisticate" barbie and never "nsync #1 fan" barbie, but you know who your friends are and you do what you want. Plus, you have a kick ass motorcycle.
The ten year old in me keeps surfacing. *sigh* Well if you like little animals and you feel like a laugh, go to this
website. It's about the hamster Hamtaro, and apparently it's quite a hit in..the US? Hmmmm.

Hello Erwin. *grin* Cherry: did you really cook all that?
steak, roasted salmon.... roast potato with cheese and sour cream... smoked mussels.... sauteed mushrooms with cheese.... boiled veggies..... perrier lemon with honey and finally................... water.
WOW! I wanna taste! Looking at all that cheese, that's why you needed to shit right? I would've thought cooking was a symbol of all domesticity but you just proved yourself to be less of a feminist than you make yourself out to be! Next you'll be wanting children, and heaven forbid - a dog. We'll be there laughing. Anyway I like your blog. It's full of your bimbotic-intellectual personality. Back to cooking, hey can we have a cook-out at someone's house soon... I know how to do stir-fry...I learnt from
Yan in Chinatown or some weird programme.

OMG I'm an
image hijacker?
And so the picture goes away. Sorry Ling dear, I had to delete the post cos the unloaded picture marked by 'X' was such an eyesore.
I feel violated. I hope the person whoever he/she was did not read my blog. It's my private life and my private thoughts, and I'm only willing to share it with people I know well enough.
And really sorry to the person I pilfered from. But if you're reading this now, move your mouse to the 'X' on the top right hand corner of your screen and click there. I repeat, this is a private blog.

Ok, we had another fight after the last update. But after that I apologised for raising my voice, and now everything's ok. Sigh.
Cherry and I are bringing Joanna clubbing after the prom as a birthday treat. Anyone else interested in coming along? But bear in mind we gotta pay everything for her. And also, Jo doesn't know about this yet, so *shhhh*.
À La Folie Pas Du Tout - must watch after exams. New movie from Audrey Tautou.

I'm pretty upset... I guess it's safe to say I
have been pretty upset for the whole darn week. I had some sort of fight with my mum today because she assumed I was going to be leaving the house with her after lunch, when I never said I was going to. She got mad with me because I wasn't leaving with her, which I thought was fucking unreasonable because I don't have to plan my schedule around hers, and besides, after farting around this whole week I had finally gotten down to studying this morning. I didn't wanna break my momentum so I was lying there, reading The Vultures. During lunch I cut an apple and gave her half but she demanded 'What's that for?' and she said she thought I was taking her for granted. I really exploded. I told her off, I said if she was going to take my good intentions as an attempt to take her for granted then FINE and I stormed off. I think she's fucking loony, it's my fucking A levels, what does she want me to, drop everything for her and drool at her command? I'm so pissed, I mean yes, I'm pissed with the world, but she of all people should try to make concessions for me. I've been really stressed out and I don't need her laying her demands on top of me like I don't have enough problems!
I prayed about this last night. I really did. But instead I woke up to a fight with my mum. When she left the house she said bye to me while I was sulking in my room. But when I got home at dinner time she totally ignored me. What game is she playing here? Why is she acting so fucking childish?????? I swear I'm going mad.

I remember we had a lecture for Regeneration and we saw a video tape of young men enlisting during World War One. It kind of got me in a funny way, probably because they had this woman singing in the background about how the men should go fight for freedom and come home to the ones they loved, and in the meantime the women at home would be thinking of them.
I think if there could be any moment in time that I'd be allowed to visit, this is it. I think there's something thrilling about the war, sort of how Prior said it felt sexy walking towards the guns. It's a horrific fascination in a way, but I think there's way more to this than anything. I love Regeneration. It's the Joy Luck Club of 2002, only that comparing both texts I realise I
must have gained some level of maturity in order to love a book about something I have no experience in.
And now, another song, not totally relevant but this one more apt to describe the feelings of those who have gone before.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.
And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

Thoughts and Musings of a would-be Hermit
I'm so pleased, a letter came in the mail for me today! I just love receiving mail, especially when you've been waiting so long to hear from someone. This person is someone I've never met, she's the daughter of my mum's friend and she lives in Germany. One year younger than me. We have plans to grow oranges in Valencia someday, but I wonder if we'll ever get down to that! It's just that the older we are, the more things we experience and slowly, what we want from the future begins to evolve.
The temperature outside today is 29degC and that's pretty nice.
My friend, the one with the skunk faced boyfriend - she messaged me a while ago to ask me where I was and what I was doing. Then she told me she was reading at Pacific Coffee and said bye. I have two responses to that: 1. Okay, cool. Bye. 2. Do you honestly think I give a damn what you're doing? I don't even want to think about who you might be with, so just keep that info to yourself cos it aint any of my business. Now, come back to me at the turn of the century when I no longer feel as if you've fallen into taint with that ass. I chose the 3rd option, which is not to reply, something I do when I'm either pissed or I have nothing to say. Lately I feel my alter ego surging to the fore. I say one thing but boy do I mean something else. And like Sassoon, I take great pleasure in shouting the real deal at the person's image. I believe this to be an extremely unhealthy thing to do, but I cannot go around saying what's on my mind, because my animal instincts are first and foremost, to attack as viciously as I can, that which I know I will regret sooner than later. It feels like repression of emotion, but emotions cannot always govern me. It's at moments like these when I don't know what to do with myself that I wish I could be a hermit. But you all know that if there's one thing I can't do, it's survive on my own. So there.
Lately I have had the strangest feeling
With no vivid reason here to find
Yet the thought of losing you's been hanging
Round my mind
Far more frequently you're wearing perfume
With you say 'No special place to go'
But when I ask 'Will you be coming back soon?'
You don't know, never know
Well I'm a man of many wishes, I hope my premonition misses
What I really feel, my eyes won't let me hide
Cos they always start to cry
Cos this time could mean goodbye
Lately I've been staring in the mirror
Very slowly picking me apart
Trying to tell myself I have no reason with your heart
Just the other night while you were sleeping
I vaguely heard you whisper someone's name
But when I ask you of the thoughts you're keeping
You just say, 'Nothing's changed'.
-Lately
Such a beautiful song aint it? Especially when you know a blind man sang this song.

Which Season are you?
Find your inner Smurf!
Which era in time are you?
I realise I've been Pink-angsty for the past three days. I don't enjoy it and anyways, Pink is soo gross. Time to be happy!
I poked a strand of my hair through the holes in my hamster's cage to tickle them while they're sleeping. They have no idea what hits them! It's hilarious. They twitch away and look irritable, then press their noses to the side of the cage. My heart melts. I'm getting two more hamsters around next week, don't ask why, it's becoming an Obsession...
Suede's next single 'Obsessions' comes out today. All right!
Oh and the doctor says I won't need ear plugs for Red Hot, cotton wool will do. Cotton wool it is! Though I need it now to block out the awful techno/new age/contemporary French music my brother keeps playing on repeat mode. Agh.
