Which Personality Disorder Do You Have? brought to you by Quizilla
It's funny how they tell me I'm paranoid on the ONE day of my life I'm not obsessed with whether or not I have tetanus. Probably because Shah told me the jab costs $40 and I didn't want to pay so much to safeguard my life.
Last night I wondered, what is the effect of time on relationships? Because it sure seems like the longer you know someone, the easier it is to relate to him/her and the more secure you feel around him/her. And I also wonder, does a person's capacity to make and keep friends diminish as you grow older? Not as in, becoming a hermit or anything, but more like, knowing how to keep things going. As we age, it seems like we get so much more caught up with problems and stuff that we keep holding ourselves back from others. Where's the trust gone to?
My mother told me, at around 12am last night:
I've only come to realise this in my old age. Jealousy is the cause of all these interpersonal problems.
And I know she's right this time.

What's your brand of sexy? brought to you by Quizilla
Languid-Sexy.... You rock the messy hair and crisp white cotton sheet. Your idea of bliss is a day spent in bed with your lover. There is nothing wrong with that, though some people like to leave the bed at times. You're a total fox, even if you are a hedonistic bum.
This test wasn't that easy, in the sense they made me choose between true love and doing what I enjoyed at the expense of my financial situation as a priority in life. I chose true love in the end. Suddenly I'm not so sure what I want, so my dear friends, if I'm having dinner all the time with you and your spouse in the future [cos I don't wanna go home to an empty shack] just tell me I made the wrong decision...

Hello, I want to say something this afternoon. It's inspired by Cherry's blog and although at this moment I'm not sure what exactly I'm going to write, here goes... I hope you don't mind I put this down here?
at national day last year as a cheerleader i teared when we sang the national day song because all these talks abt singaporeans being quitters...its not true...ppl queue up to get in...ppl cheer when they see our president and ministers....everyone sang the national anthem and the pledge rang loud and clear...that wasnt the result of artificial human intervention...the feelings were real......
The immediate question that popped into mind while reading this is: Is our country doing enough to provide for the people who truly care, and by way of reciprocation, should truly matter? Part of me wants to believe yes, we have a safe, secure home built up after just 30 odd years, we have lifelong savings plans called CPF, we have a government that pushes us in the direction of knowledge and self-improvement and we have a multiracial, cosmopolitan city that is something to be proud of in this decimated age.
The other part of me wants to say no, and yet 'no' cannot be justified. There is somehow, a sense of something sorely lacking. Sure, me being the whiner I am, it's so easy to just sit here and gripe: I hate the way Singaporeans are pish-posh fuckers who are obsessed with the multiple C's, I hate the way the education system treats students like studying machines instead of individuals who genuinely have something to contribute. On this matter, I am PISSED OFF that they make education compulsory, they chain our asses to our chairs in 10 years of foundation learning and squash us stupid with the pressure of getting a degree. At the end of the day they sieve out the top 10% of the frigging rat or cat or dog year and send them off to PSC training camp. Yes - those with 4'A' level subjects, 2 'S' papers, fine CCA record, leadership skills and get this
impeccable character. Soulitary, you will vouch for this. What happens to the 90% who are either not smart enough or do not belong in the mainstream, who choose to do theatre, or childcare or fuck knows what! We get marginalised!!!! Tell me where the justice is in this country that promotes meritocracy, thereby implying that the rest of us who don't make the cut will just have to fend for ourselves? The main point here is that they push us all the way in this rat race and then at the end while we struggle for breath they draw the line at top 10% and cut off our air supply.
We're not just a nation of cookie cutter clones, and so it is plain wrong to simply categorise people into stayers and quitters. There's more to it than that. I hate the way everyone takes the easy way out and chooses the simplistic vision of stereotyping! Don't get me wrong, I am beyond grateful for what I've been given/what I've been born into. But I refuse to keep my mouth shut about what I see as wrong. Until they start to make reforms to the system that degrades us as humans and exploits what we have, they can just take their Eldershield and shove it up wherever.

What Sign of Affection Are You? brought to you by Quizilla
hug from behind - you like to feel what the other person is feeling and see things how they see them. you tend to be serious and emotional.
I am a Pocahontas, I show Anger in my eyes and I am the tongue [get busy]. As you can see, I totally disagree with all this and so I'm not going to bother putting it up on my blog.
Stuffed to the brim with Jap food, and I really shouldn't have taken so much earl grey tea. Nonetheless ladies, I had a nice time today. Ooh, did I mention that I'm brain-dead now?
Suede is no. 2 on Asia Hitlist with 'Positivity'. Eat your heart out, Paul Ong. Green Day sucks ass and I still hope your heater explodes.
Much love and a kick from behind,
